Do you know that you might have some habits that are preventing you from being happy? They key to learning how to be happy is to learn to give up those habits.
In this post, I’m going to tell you what those habits are so that you can have a happier life.
Your need to be right all the time
Give it up. Sometimes, it’s better to be kind than to be right.
Your need for control
Life will not always go according to plan and that’s okay. Get over it.
Blaming other people
You give away all of your power to be happy when you do that
Saying bad things to yourself
You’re not stupid. You’re not ugly. And you’re not a failure until you stop trying. This is so crucial to understand if you want to be happy.
Complaining
If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, accept it. If you can’t accept it, ignore it. Easier said than done (i know) but the payoff is HUGE.
Criticizing others
Even roses have thorns. I’m not perfect. You’re not perfect. Nobody is perfect. Instead of criticizing people, try to show them grace instead.

Habitual fear
Habitual fear is not your friend and it will do you no favors. The only thing it does is rob you of your happiness and the good things in your life. Give up on fear.

Give up on making excuses. They are simply a reason not to try.
