You Made a BIG Difference

Last week, I put up a video about my sister and how she is making a difference through HIV research.

Within just a few hours, so many of you had watched and shared the video all over the internet. You didn’t have to do that but you did and it means so much.

My Belief About Little Things We Do.

I have this belief that sometimes we do really small things without thinking too much of our actions.

But what we don’t consider is that those tiny things can have some major, far reaching implications.

If my sister wins that $25,000, all of the money will go toward making a difference in the area of HIV research.

You never know what can happen!

You might think you just shared a funny little video but you never know.

Your simple action of sharing could lead to life-saving implications for somebody else that you will never meet.

So I just want you to know that if you shared that video, talked about it, or in anyway supported my sister, you have done an amazing thing.

And I just want to thank you for that.

By the way, a quick note about Facebook!

A few weeks ago, I made an announcement that I was no longer going to be sharing my content on Facebook.

The reason is really simple:

I have a hunch that Facebook is moving toward becoming a platform where people (not pages) are responsible for sharing great content. What I had was a page.

In fact, you’ve probably noticed it too

If you’re a regular user of Facebook, you may have noticed that your newsfeed is a little different. You no longer see certain types of content, or maybe you see only videos, or only ads, or only articles from Buzz Feed.

At least now you know why.

In the future, Facebook is going to be a platform where the only pages that remain are those with at least 20-50,000 likes and/or a big marketing budget to pay for space in users’ news feeds.

So what now?
