I’ve heard many people say
I didn’t do anything to choose where I was born. I am just lucky to have been born in the United States
For the longest time, that statement didn’t mean anything to me.
But now it does.
It gives me something to work with.
It gives me a vision. A clear vision of the kind of world I want to live in.
I want to live in a world where Nigerian children are lucky.
The kind of world where a Bisi or an Idowu can literally think of their life and sigh with gratitude.
That’s the world I want to live in create.
That world would be quite amazing.
