What happened, Kola?

Glad you asked!

I recently picked up walking because I do not do any other form of exercise.

And I’ve realized that, most of the times that I’m walking, I have my earphones in my ears.

No big deal. Right?

Right…Except for one thing.

You see, once in a while, certain songs come on (ahem *cough* Shoki *cough*) and my legs just develop a mind of their own.

You’ll have to watch the video to see this in action.

It’s a thing.

I can’t help it.

Sometimes, I could be walking down the street with 10 other people there and I’m the only person dancing even though we’re all in the same place at the same time experiencing the same things.

Nowadays, this has become a really good reference point for me whenever I’m tempted to compare myself with other people.

It helps to remember that if we’re all hearing different instructions about who we are and how we’re supposed to live our lives, we can’t all act the same.

We can’t always be like everybody else.

And we certainly can’t always fit in with what everybody else is doing.

So whenever you think that you are weird and different, just remember that maybe you’re hearing things that other people just aren’t hearing.

…and that’s okay.

  3. Loving your moves, aint no shame in your game :) I tend to dance out as well when my fave songs come on and I can’t help it. Not like I am a great dancer but who cares…lol. Our beauty lies in our differences. The world will be boring if we all did the same thing and acted the same way. I always look forward to your updates. Keep up the great work Kola.
