Stress
It’s kind of ironic that I am writing this post because I used to be a worry wart.
It was so bad, that if I wasn’t worried, I would get worried that I didn’t have anything to worry about.
So let me share with you, the unicorn juice that finally delivered me from stress.
To be clear, I don’t sit around singing kumbaya but for the most part, I have this under control.
How I learned to Reduce my Stress
I found this quote on a British website and it basically transformed everything for me.
Contentment does not come by doing what you love but by loving what you do
When I have a list of things to do and it’s 5 miles long, here’s what I do. Instead of getting stressed out, I just ask myself: “do you love the next thing you’re about to do?”
If the answer is yes, 9 times out of 10 that’s all I need to get over the feeling of being overwhelmed.
If I can say yes, I just feel better all of a sudden and I don’t have to worry about things anymore.
You Know This About Stress Already
I don’t need to tell you about how important it is to have stress under control. Not only does it make you more effective, people are also more drawn to you when it appears that you have your stress under control.
So I challenge you to learn this quote.
Contentment does not come by doing what you love but by loving what you do
And consistently ask yourself this question: “do I love the next thing I’m about to do?”
My Fear in Sharing This Post About Stress
My fear in sharing this solution to stress is that this idea is so simple, so straight forward, and so easy that many of you are not going to do it.
I really hope that you take this post to heart, learn the quote, and keep asking yourself that question.
I can almost guarantee you that if you’re anything like I was, it is going to make a difference. You are going to feel better.
